Cashier - Nizwa, Oman
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our growing team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions with customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide information about products or services
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Keep track of all transactions on the register and reconcile at the end of each shift
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic proficiency is a plus
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Customer service oriented with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
