Information Security Analyst - Ashdod, Israel

A reputable company in Ashdod is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join their team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and information systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, as well as experience in risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for any suspicious activity
- Implement security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security tools and technologies
- Train employees on security awareness and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures
- Knowledge of common security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g. finance, healthcare)
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month. The company offers accommodation for employees if needed. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Israel. Women are encouraged to apply for this position.
