Back-End Developer

We are a rapidly growing tech startup based in Kaunas and we are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. You should have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby and experience working with databases and API integration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with our Front-End Developers. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team in the heart of Kaunas.

Salary: 1300$ per month

City: Kaunas, Lithuania

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and nationalities, however, visa sponsorship is not available at this time. We are looking for someone who is able to work legally within Lithuania.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with API integration
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Lithuanian language skills are a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications
- Collaborating with Front-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Writing efficient code that is scalable and maintainable
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in back-end development technologies
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency within the team
