Restaurant Manager
Our busy restaurant in Nakuru is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the hospitality industry and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Train new staff members on company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership abilities and proven track record of managing a team effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
