Gardener for Landscaping and Maintenance (Indian Nationals Preferred)


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and landscaping, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$, with the added benefit of provided accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain gardens, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained
- Plant, prune, water, fertilize, and weed plants as needed
- Implement pest control measures to ensure the health of plants
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Keep track of inventory and purchase necessary supplies as needed
- Communicate with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences
- Provide recommendations for plant selection based on climate and soil conditions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred
- Knowledge of various plant types, their care needs, and common pests/diseases
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Physically fit to perform gardening tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, etc.
- Strong attention to detail to keep gardens looking well-maintained at all times
- Good communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner

Preference will be given to Indian nationals who have experience working in similar roles. However, all interested candidates are welcome to apply.
