Loader Operator in Malindi, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used to move materials at our job site. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as loaders and forklifts to load and unload materials
- Transport materials to different locations within the job site
- Inspect equipment daily for any damage or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery, specifically loaders and forklifts
- Ability to read and understand manuals and blueprints
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
