Experienced Mason

We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our construction team in Funchal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using various materials including brick, stone, and concrete. You must have prior experience in masonry work and be able to work full time.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up work area
- Lay bricks, stone or concrete blocks according to blueprints or plans
- Cut or shape materials to fit specific requirements
- Use tools such as hammers, levels, and trowels to complete projects
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or other materials
- Mix mortar and grout according to specifications
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred
