Contract Equipment Operator - Almada, Portugal



As a Contract Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and excavators. You will be required to have prior experience in operating heavy equipment and be able to work on a contract basis in Almada, Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including fuel usage, materials moved, and maintenance performed
- Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks within given deadlines
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with the equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid biometric passport or EU citizenship preferred
- Ability to work on a contract basis with flexible hours as needed
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to operating heavy equipment
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- High attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
