Temporary Truck Driver

We are seeking a Temporary Truck Driver to join our team in Almada! As a temporary truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain experience in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain assigned vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Plan and follow most efficient routes for timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload cargo following proper safety procedures
- Inspect vehicle before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth delivery process
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, tolls, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- At least 1 year of experience as a truck driver preferred
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Good knowledge of Almada roads and highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
