Contract Truck Driver (Almada, Portugal)



We are seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Contract Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations. Responsibilities:
- Operate company-owned or leased trucks to facilitate the transportation of goods and materials
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any defects or issues to the maintenance team
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid truck driver's license (Category C) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills in Portuguese or English (both is a plus)
- Ability to work independently while following instructions from dispatchers

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
