We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Almada, Portugal. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, creating innovative menus, and ensuring high-quality food and service. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Head Chef and a strong knowledge of Portuguese cuisine.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and execute creative menus that reflect local flavors and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu development

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of Portuguese cuisine including traditional dishes and modern interpretations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Creative mindset with the ability to design unique menus that appeal to our customers' tastes
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.
