Job Title: Librarian


We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to join our library in Isa Town. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the library's collections, assisting patrons in finding resources, and promoting library services. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain library collections by selecting, ordering, cataloging, and classifying materials
- Assist patrons in locating resources and provide reference services
- Plan and organize library events, such as book clubs or author talks
- Manage the library's budget and make recommendations for new purchases
- Ensure all materials are properly shelved and organized according to library standards
- Provide assistance with technology resources, including computers and online databases
- Promote library services through social media, flyers, or other marketing strategies
- Train new staff members or volunteers on library procedures and policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patrons
- Familiarity with technology resources commonly found in libraries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This position is open to candidates of all nationalities. However, please note that having a biometric passport is required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining their own accommodation in Isa Town.
