Chef de Cuisine - Balzers, Liechtenstein


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and executing new menu items, managing inventory and budget, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create new dishes and update menus regularly to keep up with current culinary trends
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high levels of productivity and quality
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and maintain cost control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen according to health codes and company standards
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are of high quality and visually appealing
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, techniques, etc. to continuously improve menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining classic techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1800 per month.
