Preservation Architect


A renowned architectural firm in Horsens is seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural history and techniques, as well as strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on historical buildings, their architecture, and construction methods
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and goals for the restoration project
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration work
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure quality and adherence to preservation standards
- Managing project timelines and budgets
- Conducting site visits to assess progress and address any issues that may arise
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all restoration work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and techniques for preservation
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team management
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Historic Preservation or a related field
- Professional licensure as an architect
- Experience working with government agencies for historic preservation projects

Salary: 1000$ per month without accommodation. This is a full-time position based in Horsens. We welcome candidates of all nationalities.
