Junior Developer - Biometric Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Developer with a passion for biometric systems to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining biometric solutions for our company, focusing on the integration of biometric passport technology. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the successful implementation of these systems, as well as communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement biometric solutions for passport authentication
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate biometric systems into our existing software
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of biometric systems to ensure functionality and security
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends and advancements in biometric technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with development languages such as Java or C++
- Familiarity with biometric technologies such as fingerprint scanning or facial recognition
- Knowledge of data encryption and security protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric passport technology
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC standards for biometrics
- Fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
