Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our company's sensitive information and systems. You will work closely with the IT team to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your role will also involve conducting regular security audits, implementing security policies and procedures, and providing training to employees on best practices for information security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in our systems and networks.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor network activity for any signs of potential breaches.
- Investigate any reported security incidents and take appropriate action.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach.
- Implement and maintain access controls for employees based on their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide training to employees on best practices for information security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in information security and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role.
- Knowledge of common information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate strategies based on the findings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on information security protocols.
- Knowledge of Nepali language preferred but not required.

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Wiltz

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week), without accommodation. Biometric passport required.
