Land Surveyor

As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land to determine boundaries, locations, and other important information for construction or development projects. You will use specialized equipment and technology to accurately gather data and create detailed reports and maps. Additionally, you may be required to work with clients, contractors, and government officials to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements. This position may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions and may require travel to different job sites. A successful candidate for this role will have a strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Analyze collected data to create accurate maps, reports, and other documentation
- Work with clients to understand project requirements and provide recommendations for surveying solutions
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper placement of structures based on survey data
- Communicate regularly with team members, clients, contractors, and government officials regarding project progress
- Monitor equipment maintenance and repair needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a land surveyor or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, equipment operation, and data analysis methods
- Ability to use specialized software for data processing and mapping
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members, clients, contractors, and government officials
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks
- Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk long distances carrying equipment if necessary

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: St. Petersburg
