Fitter - Maintenance Technician


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Fitter - Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shan, India. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. Your main duties will include performing regular inspections, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and repairing or replacing faulty parts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new machinery and equipment according to specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand and power tools
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with other team members to improve overall efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
- Certification in relevant trade (e.g. welding, machining) is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position.
