Industrial Alpinist
Location: United States
We are currently seeking experienced and trained Industrial Alpinists to join our team for various contract projects in the United States. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing high-altitude maintenance, construction, and repair work on industrial structures such as bridges, towers, and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access techniques to access hard-to-reach areas of industrial structures
- Conduct thorough safety checks and inspections before starting work
- Use specialized equipment and tools to complete assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working at heights
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain detailed records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to superiors
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role
- Certification in rope access techniques (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment and tools
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per week. Additional compensation may be provided for overtime or hazardous working conditions.
Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with varying lengths depending on the project. Travel may be required for certain assignments.
Location:
The primary location for this job is in the United States, but assignments may involve travel within the country.
