As a Typesetter at our publishing company in Svalbard, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality printed materials. Your main responsibility will be to format and arrange text and images according to specific design guidelines and styles. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of typography.

Responsibilities:
- Format and layout text and images according to specific design guidelines and styles
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure consistency in design and content
- Proofread materials to check for errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from the team or clients
- Ensure that all materials are delivered on time while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, etc.
- Strong understanding of typography principles and best practices
- Excellent written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of printing processes is preferred
