Unity Developer

We are hiring a skilled Unity Developer to join our team in Esbjerg. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive experiences for our game audience. Your primary task will be to develop and implement game mechanics, UI elements, and visual effects using the Unity framework.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional game features
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Create custom shaders and visual effects to enhance the overall look of the game
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance for different platforms
- Stay updated on new Unity features and incorporate them into projects as needed
- Work closely with artists to integrate 2D/3D assets into the game
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Continuously improve development processes and workflows

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2 years of experience developing games using Unity
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with UI development (e.g. creating menus, buttons, animations)
- Familiarity with optimizing games for different platforms (PC, mobile)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript or Python
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. Maya, Blender)

Salary: $1200 per month based on experience.

Location: This is a full-time position located in Esbjerg, Denmark. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Denmark.
