Crane Operator



We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower and overhead cranes
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment before use to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication to ensure safe movement of materials
- Maneuver crane into position according to site plans and instructions from supervisors
- Lift and move materials using crane controls, taking into account weight distribution and wind conditions
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and completed tasks

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator in construction industry
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- In-depth knowledge of crane operations, safety regulations, load charts and rigging techniques
- Physically fit with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (English speaking preferred)
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
