Indian Restaurant Manager in Mombasa, Kenya

As an Indian Restaurant Manager in Mombasa, Kenya, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service. You will also be responsible for managing and training a diverse team of staff, developing and implementing business strategies to increase revenue, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and passion for the restaurant industry will contribute to the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting
- Train and supervise staff to maintain high levels of customer service
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate prices for supplies
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, culture, and customs.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
