Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team in creating delectable desserts and pastries for our upscale restaurant in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry-making, exceptional creativity, and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry department, including preparation, production, and plating of desserts and pastries
- Create new and innovative dessert menus that complement our restaurant's concept and cuisine
- Train and mentor pastry team members to ensure high-quality standards and consistency in all pastry offerings
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space in accordance with health codes
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service of desserts during busy periods
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts is preferred
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Experience with menu development and creating unique dessert concepts
- Ability to manage inventory levels, control costs, and maintain quality standards within budget constraints
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members to perform at their best
Salary: 1300$ per month
Location: Lahore, Pakistan (open to all nationalities)
