We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts according to the restaurant's menu
- Develop new dessert items that are in line with current food trends and customer preferences
- Ensure all pastry items are made to high-quality standards and presented beautifully
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure ingredients are always available
- Train and oversee pastry assistants in proper techniques and recipes
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to create well-rounded menus that complement each other

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Knowledge of baking techniques, including cake decorating, chocolate work, and creating intricate designs with pastry dough
- Creativity and passion for creating unique desserts that satisfy both taste buds and visual appeal
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills to train junior staff members and delegate tasks accordingly
- Excellent communication skills to work with other chefs, kitchen staff, and front of house team members

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred but not required
- Certification from a reputable culinary school is an asset
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within the company.
