Database Administrator - Alta, Norway


We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our databases. You will also be involved in planning and development of database systems, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and ensure data is secure
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Identify and troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to plan and implement new databases
- Ensure data is stored correctly and efficiently
- Create and maintain documentation for database systems
- Train end users on how to use databases effectively

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
- Experience with database design, maintenance, backup and recovery strategies
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems quickly
- Knowledge of data security protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this role is 1100$ per month.

This position is located in Alta, Norway.
