Skilled Carpenter

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter for our construction company located in the beautiful city of Lom, Canada. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as building frameworks, walls, roofs, and window frames. You will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Measure and cut materials to specifications using hand and power tools
- Build or repair structures using various types of wood and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, trim, cabinets etc.
- Inspect finished product for quality and compliance with building codes
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending, lifting etc.
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity

Preferred:
- Prior experience working in Canada or other English-speaking countries
- Biometric passport for ease of travel
- Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates
- Freshers with relevant education or training welcome to apply

Salary: $1200 CAD per week
