Carpenter - Lom, India


We are currently hiring for the position of Carpenter in Lom, India. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to plans
- Cut, shape and join materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install structures such as floors, doors, windows, cabinets, stairs etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Sand surfaces and apply varnish or other finishes to preserve wood surfaces
- Follow safety procedures while working with sharp tools or heavy machinery

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in working with various hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Work Hours:
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. We also offer part-time positions for those seeking more flexible schedules.

Location:
