Head Pastry Chef - Triesen, Liechtenstein


We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Triesen, Liechtenstein. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pastry production for our restaurant. This includes creating and developing new dessert menus, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising junior pastry chefs, and ensuring high quality and consistency in all pastry dishes.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a pastry chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts
- Creative flair and passion for creating innovative and visually appealing desserts
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train junior staff members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Responsibilities:
- Designing creative dessert menus that reflect current food trends while also considering dietary restrictions of customers
- Overseeing the preparation of all pastries, cakes, breads, and other desserts according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the pastry kitchen at all times
- Ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Training junior staff members on proper techniques for preparation and presentation of desserts
- Collaborating with other chefs to create balanced menus that complement main courses
- Staying updated with new techniques, ingredients, equipment, or trends in pastry arts

Salary:
As the Head Pastry Chef at our restaurant in Triesen, Liechtenstein you will receive a competitive salary of 1400$. This is based on experience level and may be negotiable.
