Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant


A prestigious fine dining restaurant in Faisalabad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing inventory and food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month, along with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with innovative and creative dishes that reflect the restaurant's style
- Manage inventory to ensure all ingredients are stocked and ordered in a timely manner
- Control food costs by monitoring portion sizes and minimizing waste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Maintain high standards of food quality by conducting regular inspections and tastings
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed
- Collaborate with restaurant management on special events and promotions

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and plating methods
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with kitchen staff, management, suppliers, and customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
