Part-Time Web Designer


We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team in Funchal on a part-time basis. As a web designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience in the field to gain practical experience while working with a supportive and experienced team.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and goals
- Design and develop websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present to clients
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for different devices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the design process
- Work within project timelines and budgets set by clients

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
- Portfolio showcasing previous web design work is preferred

Preferred qualifications:
Although not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working as a web designer in a professional setting
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal.
