Job Title: Head Baker
The Head Baker will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery operations in Muharraq, including production, quality control, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a bakery setting and a strong understanding of baking techniques and recipes. This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided, but visa sponsorship is available for all nationalities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise bakery staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met
- Oversee production of baked goods according to established recipes and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Create new recipes or modify existing ones to meet customer preferences
- Collaborate with management to develop new products or improve existing ones
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a bakery setting, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure consistency in product quality
- Good communication skills to effectively train and manage staff
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Salary: $1400 per month
Location: Muharraq (no accommodation provided)
