Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team in Porto. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching a variety of subjects to students aged 6-12, and fostering a positive learning environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the academic needs of students
- Teach a variety of subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Use creative and interactive teaching methods to engage students in the learning process
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel welcome and supported
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop school-wide initiatives and programs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching elementary school students
- Knowledge of current educational practices and techniques
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of diverse learners
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international or multilingual students
- Familiarity with technology used in the classroom such as smartboards or educational software
- Fluency in Portuguese (or willingness to learn)
