We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the server-side logic for our web-based applications. You will work closely with our Front-End Developers and Project Managers to ensure seamless integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of our projects.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side code for web-based applications
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers to ensure efficient integration of front-end and back-end components
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Experience working on web-based applications
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. There is potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Experience required: At least 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role is required for this position.
