Job Title: Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Maintain and update company databases and records
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for office staff
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry tasks
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents
- Keep the office clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
Salary: $1200/month (full-time position)
Location: Funchal (open to all nationalities)
