Crane Operator


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Faro. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment on construction sites or other locations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating cranes and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes.
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the location of materials and equipment.
- Inspect crane mechanisms, such as cables, pulleys, and hooks, for safety issues.
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with workers on the ground during operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane to ensure its proper functioning.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to determine the most efficient way to move materials.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator.
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This is a full-time position located in Faro.
