Contract Interpreter (Portuguese-English) in Lisbon

As a Contract Interpreter, you will provide interpretation services in both Portuguese and English for various business and legal meetings in Lisbon. You will work on a contract basis, meaning that you will be hired for specific assignments and will not have a permanent position with the company. This is an urgent job, so we are looking for someone who is available to start immediately.

Requirements:
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English
- Previous experience as an interpreter
- Strong knowledge of business and legal terminology in both languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services during business meetings, negotiations, and other events
- Ensure that the meaning and tone of the speakers are accurately conveyed in both languages
- Research and prepare specialized vocabulary related to each assignment
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to deadlines set by the client or company

Salary: The salary for this position is $1000 per assignment.

Location: This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. However, due to the nature of contract work, you may be required to travel within the country or internationally for assignments.

Accommodation: This is a contract position without accommodation provided. Therefore, candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Lisbon.
