Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing settings. Your role will involve troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance, and performing repairs or replacements as necessary. You will also be responsible for calibrating instruments to ensure accurate readings, keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs, and staying up-to-date with new technologies in the field.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles, as well as experience working with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, and level sensors. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
This position is based in the bustling city of Os in Norway. While being a Norwegian national is preferred for this role, we welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience regardless of nationality. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Please note that accommodation is not provided as part of this job offer.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment. A technical degree or certification is also highly preferred.
