Executive Chef - Fine Dining
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our fine dining restaurant in Fonvieille. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu creation, staff management, and food quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus that are innovative and reflect our brand's concept
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure food quality standards are consistently met and maintained
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Creativity in menu development with a focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Experience managing inventory levels and controlling food costs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.
