Sous Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant in Fonvieille, Monaco

We are searching for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our fine dining restaurant team in Fonvieille, Monaco. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the head chef to oversee the kitchen operations and ensure high-quality menu offerings. Your responsibilities will include managing and training kitchen staff, creating new dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a sous chef in a high-end restaurant setting. You must be creative, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills. A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred. In addition, you must have excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to food safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Create new dishes or modify existing ones based on customer preferences
- Train new kitchen staff on menu items, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the head chef on menu planning
- Monitor food quality and presentation during service hours
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent leadership skills
- Creative mindset
- Detail-oriented
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Fonvieille, Monaco (accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates)
