Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets and variances, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate must have a biometric passport and at least 5 years of experience in accounting. The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and timely
- Monitor budgets and analyze variances to help improve financial performance
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Provide support for audits conducted by external auditors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (such as QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
