Indian Executive Chef in Herzliya, Israel
As an Indian Executive Chef in Herzliya, Israel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation for our restaurant. Your main goal will be to consistently deliver high-quality, authentic Indian cuisine that meets the expectations of our diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Stay up-to-date with current food trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
- Monitor kitchen expenses and maintain budget requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new, innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport for easy travel to Israel (if not already residing there)
We offer competitive salary of $1100 per month with potential for growth within our company. This is an urgent position so we are seeking candidates who are able to start immediately.
