Head Chef - International Cuisine



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at a renowned restaurant in Herzliya, specializing in international cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning to food preparation and presentation. You must have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong understanding of different cooking techniques and flavors from around the world.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Create new dishes and recipes while maintaining the quality standards of the restaurant
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in an international cuisine restaurant setting
- Proficient in various cooking techniques, including but not limited to French, Italian, Asian, and Middle Eastern cuisines
- Knowledgeable about different spices, herbs, and ingredients commonly used in international dishes
- Creative mindset with an ability to continuously innovate menu offerings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew is a plus)
- Must have a valid biometric passport (foreigners welcome)

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
