Junior Back-End Developer


We are hiring a Junior Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Akron. As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and applications. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement back-end systems and applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug code to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Continuously improve existing systems for better performance and scalability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (Git, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of web services/APIs development
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
