Front-End Web Developer

As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-facing features on websites and web applications. You will work closely with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, responsive code. Your focus will be on creating a seamless and intuitive experience for users, while also ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility across all major browsers
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure a consistent experience across different device sizes
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in front-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer
- Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Porto, Portugal (accommodation provided for non-local candidates)
