Surveyor - Land and Property Management Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Svalbard. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land and property surveys, analyzing data, and providing accurate measurements for various projects. Your role will also involve creating maps, charts, and reports using specialized software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land and property surveys using a variety of equipment including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Analyze data collected from surveys to create accurate measurements
- Create maps, charts, and reports using specialized software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, architects, and developers to provide accurate survey information for construction projects
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations related to land surveying
- Provide recommendations for improvements or changes based on survey findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Own visa/work permit for Svalbard preferred
Salary: $1400 per month
