Finishing Technician


We are a well-established furniture manufacturing company located in Oslo, seeking a skilled and experienced Finishing Technician to join our team. As a Finishing Technician, you will be responsible for applying finishes to our furniture products, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and priming
- Mix and apply stains, paints, and other finishes according to specifications
- Use various tools and equipment such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety protocols are followed during the finishing process
- Inspect finished products for imperfections or defects
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed
- Maintain inventory of finishing supplies and equipment

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Finisher or similar role in furniture manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of wood types, finishes, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications and finishing instructions
- Experience with various finishing tools and equipment
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify flaws or imperfections in finished products
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
