Crane Operator - Muscat, Oman


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, strong mechanical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate crane capacities for specific lifts
- Inspect cranes before each use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Communicate with site supervisors and signalers to ensure safe and efficient crane movements
- Maneuver loads into position using hand signals or radio communication
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Valid crane operator certification or license (local or international)
- Strong understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques and load charts
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month. Additional benefits including accommodation may be provided.
