Contract Truck Driver in Bergen



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Bergen. As a Contract Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations within the city and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a large truck in a safe manner, adhering to traffic laws and company policies at all times
- Load and unload goods and materials from the truck, ensuring they are properly secured for transport
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck before and after each trip
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries made

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with refrigerated or hazardous materials transportation
- Familiarity with GPS systems for efficient route planning
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
