Warehouse Operations Assistant


We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our warehouse, including receiving and storing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining inventory records. This position is open to both men and women with previous warehouse experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders
- Unload and store inventory in designated locations
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using inventory management software
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular physical counts
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Communicate any stock shortages or issues to management in a timely manner
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in warehousing is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to speak English fluently is required; additional language skills are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with basic computer skills for data entry and use of inventory management software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
